What is Phone Verification?
Phone Verification lets you confirm that the phone number on your TaskSolver profile actually belongs to you. It works over WhatsApp — the messaging app almost everyone already has installed — instead of a traditional SMS code.
After adding a phone number, you request a short verification code sent to your WhatsApp. Enter it in the app, and your number is confirmed and locked to your account, adding a second identity anchor beyond your email.
A verified phone strengthens account recovery and makes your account harder to duplicate or impersonate.

How it works in TaskSolver
Add a phone number to your profile, then request a verification code. TaskSolver sends a 6-digit code to that number over WhatsApp within moments.
Enter the code in the app to confirm it's really your number. The code expires after a short window, and requesting a new one automatically invalidates the last.
Once verified, the number becomes part of your confirmed identity — matching the same protection already in place for verified emails.
