Push Notifications

Get nudged at the right moment. Push notifications keep you on track without needing to keep the app open.

What are Push Notifications?

Push Notifications deliver timely alerts straight to your device — no need to have TaskSolver open to know something needs your attention.

Task reminders work as local notifications: they're scheduled directly on the device where you set them, and they fire on that device only. If you use TaskSolver on a phone and a tablet, each one manages its own reminders independently.

You stay in control: notifications complement the app, they don't replace it — everything they alert you about is always available inside TaskSolver too.

How can it help you be more productive?

  • Never tied to the appGet alerted about what matters even when TaskSolver isn't open on your screen.
  • Reminders live on your deviceTask reminders are scheduled locally on the device where the task was created and fire right there — no dependency on a network round-trip for something as time-sensitive as a due date.
  • Built for what's comingThe same delivery system powers today's reminders and will power Finance alerts — due installments, budget warnings — as they roll out.
  • Reliable deliveryNotifications route through platform-native channels on both Android and iOS, so they arrive the way your phone expects.

How it works in TaskSolver

When you create a task with a reminder, TaskSolver schedules a local notification on that specific device for the due date — no server round-trip needed, so it fires reliably right when it's due.

Because reminders are local, they only appear on the device where you set them. If you manage tasks across a phone and a tablet, each device keeps track of its own reminders.

If a device stops being used, its scheduled reminders simply stop firing — no manual cleanup needed on your end.
