What are Smart Reminders?
Smart Reminders is a focused alerting system built around the way you actually plan your day. Instead of dumping every upcoming task on you at once, TaskSolver filters your reminders into three time windows: Today, Tomorrow, and This Week.
The idea is simple: most reminder apps overwhelm you with everything at once — past due, next month, someday — until the list becomes noise you stop reading. Smart Reminders cuts through that by surfacing only what is actionable right now.
By narrowing the signal, Smart Reminders keeps you moving forward without the anxiety of seeing a wall of tasks you cannot do anything about yet.
How can it help you be more productive?
- Never miss a deadlineReminders surface exactly when they're relevant — not days in advance when you'll forget, and not after the fact when it's too late.
- Reduced notification fatigueOnly tasks actually due soon appear in your view. Everything else stays organized but out of the way until its time comes.
- Three natural time windowsToday, Tomorrow, and This Week give you a planning rhythm without requiring you to manually configure when each alert fires.
- Priority-aware sortingHigh-priority tasks with approaching deadlines always surface first, so you spend attention where it counts most.
How it works in TaskSolver
When you create a task and assign a due date, it automatically becomes eligible for Smart Reminders. No additional setup is needed — TaskSolver calculates which time window the task falls into and places it in the appropriate view.
On your home screen, the Reminders section shows a count for each window. Tap Today to see what needs your attention right now; tap This Week for a broader horizon. Tasks are sorted by priority within each window so the most critical items always appear first.
As days pass and tasks are completed or rescheduled, the windows update automatically. Completed tasks leave the list; postponed tasks move between windows. At any moment, you can open TaskSolver and know exactly what you need to do without having to think about it.
